cultural books and
educational materials

Culture is the connection between society and nature. Culture is the way that society relates to nature, treats nature, values nature, harvests nature, protects nature, and celebrates nature. The following listed books and educational materials were made to value nature, to celebrate nature, to connect children with the southwest Michigan's local habitats and local wildlife, and to pass on the wisdom of nature to inspire society protect nature. The books and educational materials focus each on natural elements, man-made elements, social elements, and society relating to nature. The books and educational materials were designed for school children. The best education is likely going outside to directly touch and examine the local community and nature. However, books and worksheets have a useful purpose. Yet, books and worksheets are only educational supplements.  There is no adequate substitute for real direct experiences in the outdoors. Enjoy your time outdoors and enjoy the following books and educational materials.
